Zync Z-999 Plus launched in India; Country’s first Android 4.0 ICS tablet with 3G

Zync, the Tablet PC manufacturer launched Country’s  first 3G enabled Android Tablet, Zync Z-999 Plus at price tag of Rs. 11,990. With the launch of this tablet Zync has extended its range of high end Tablet PC for the market. Zync Z-999 Plus comes with a powerful processor, for doing high end task on a single move, it also comes with Android 4.0 Ice cream sandwich bundled with 3G capabilities.

The story doesn’t ends here, specifically keeping in mind the ideology of Indians the brand will offer a lot many accessories along with the device. Zync Z-999 Plus being the only 7-inch tablet released by the company so far, sports a magnificient 7-inch LED Capacitive display which boost a resolution of 800 X 480 pixels . The tablet house a 1.5GHz single core ARM Cortex A8 processor coupled with 512 RAM.

Light on weight and empowered with high standard battery makes it a perfect pick on the efficiency clause. The tablet is only 8mm thick with a weight of 340 gms and comes with 4,200 mAh Standard battery on the whole. On the multimedia front, it has 2.0 MP Rear Camera and VGA (0.3MP) front camera, supports HD video playback . On the connectivity front, the device is equipped with Wi-fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G SIM card slot and some common features.

Speaking on the occassion, Ashish Garg, Director at Zync Global Private Limited said, “We were the first players to launch a low-cost tablet on Android 4.0 a few months ago and are constantly working on innovation by adding more features to match the varied needs and lifestyles of consumers.” He goes on to state, “The response from our customer base for our earlier models Z-909 plus, Z-990 and Z-990 plus has been outstanding and we are catering to the student community and education institutions at large.”

Commenting on the sales estimates of the tablet, Zync states “The tablet market in India is estimated at 10 million units in fiscal 2012 and we have already sold over 1,00,000 units in just 6 months. The company is aiming to sell 0.5 million units by 2013.”

Pricing and Availability

 

Zync has set the cost to Rs. 11,990 for the Gadget and would be made available shortly on various online stores like Flipkart.com, Homeshop18.com and Naaptol.com. Along with the common accessories like Charger and USB cable, Zync is offering Screen Guard, Earphones and Lycra Sleeve absolutely free. The brand is also offering a paid external keyboard designed specifically for the device.

    THIS TABLET NOT CONNECTING TO WI-FI FOR ME.
    WHEN WI-FI OPTION IS SWITCHED ON, “OBTAINING IP ADDRESS” WORD COMES AND STAYES FOR LONG TIME ATERWARES “AVOIDED POOR INTERNET CONNECTION” APPEARS.
    NET CONNECTION NOT OCCURS
