The Four-day Mega Electronics show CES 2013 finally came to an end on Jan 11, leaving the world with fascination of some amazing gizmos that where beyond the imagination.  CES 2013 brought to light many smartphones and tablets which were globally applauded and worth everyone’s appreciation. Sony Xperia Z and Samsung YOUM OLED-display were the most talked about gadgets throughout the show.

Lenovo too marked its presence at the event show casing series of Smartphones and Tablets. This time too, the South-korean giant, Samsung dominated the show and showed the world, What it is known for ?? From Smart TV’s to LED TV’s and from Android powered Microwave Oven to high-end Refrigerators, it flooded the Home Appliances section.

It will be launched lately in March but it gave a quick blow to start CES 2013. Sony unveiled its most anticipated smartphone i.e., Sony Xperia Z powered by a 1.5 Ghz Qua-Core processor, an Adreno 320 GPU. It sports a 5-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. To enrich the image quality, it house a 13MP camera and Exmor RS sensor for HDR images and video. Running on Android 4.1 it is the most sophisticated smartphone the company has today.

#2. Samsung YOUM OLED Display

Samsung shocked the world with its flexible display screens, the 5-inch display that can be wrapped around its edges allows user to see a part of the screen relinquishing the need of using the whole screen. Wait..!! Before you move any further, the technology is just a concept and it is yet to be incorporated in a smartphone. Similar, to this Nokia Kinetic is another prototype for flexible screen.

#3. Huawei Ascend D2

As was the case last year, this time too the Chinese mobile maker unveiled another high-end smartphone running a Quad-core processor at its heart. It sports a 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. Surprisingly, it has no option to expand storage leaving user’s with 32GB of onboard storagea  and 2GB of RAM. The phone weighs 170 gms and is made Dust cum Water resistant. It is empowered by a hefty 3,000 mAh Lithium – ion battery.

You can name it a beast when it comes to specifications, the device is powered by a majestic Intel Atom processor clocked at 2Ghz running two cores inside. Some say that it the fastest processor equipped in a smartphone till date. Lenovo K900 is the complete package comprising of high-end specifications such as., 5.5-inch display, 13 MP Camera with 4G LTE connectivity.

#5. Alcatel One touch Scribe X

Alcatel, the company which deals with low-end mobile phones, stepped in the high-end smartphone arena with Alcatel One Touch Scribe X ; sporting a 5-inch display the phone has an excellent build Quality and packs a decent hardware altogether. It house a 12 MP Camera and a 1.4 Ghz Quad-core processor making the phone a complete package in itself.

ZTE unveiled Grand S which packs a stellar piece of hardware coupled with amazing design and style. At the core, it runs a 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor and 2 GB of RAM. This new tablet is a budget tablet featuring low end specifications like., 1.2 Ghz dual-core processor, 7-inch Capacitive display, 512 MB RAM, 8 GB Onboard Storage and a 2,710 mAh battery. It runs on Android Jelly Bean operating system.
