Nikon unveils D4, D800 and D800E DSLR camera series in India

In my previous article I have talked about the full specification of Nikon D4 DSLR and finally Nikon has launched its three DSLR cameras in India i.e., Nikon D4, Nikon D800, Nikon D800E. All the three cameras have FX-format CMOS sensor, among which D800 has the highest value of sensor on 36.3 MP. I will talk about each one of them one by one, Nikon D4 is equipped with an 16.2 MP CMOS sensor which will definitely delight the Professionals, the sensor measures 36.0 x 23.9mm and has an EXPEED 3 processor for capturing real images at a faster speed. D4 is capable of capturing images at 10fps and supports video recording at 30 fps,25 fps,24 fps with size of 1920 x 1080p. The Camera is developed to handle formats like H.264/MPEG-4 AVC HD and the one click button makes it very easier to acess this functionality.

The 51 point AF system makes your shooting experience better in low visibilty areas, the NIKKOR sensor enabled in it understands the shooting environment very well and quickly adjust its focus to give you the best shot, the AF system also features high speed shooting capability in FX format at 10 fps with AF and AE tracking functionality. Whereas if we talk about Nikon D800 and D800E , these both are high range specification camera’s with some quality features. Nikon D800 features 36.3 megapixel FX-format image sensor and has the same EXPEED 3 image processing processor as in D4, it is considered as the compact version of D4. Other features include a sensitivity range from ISO 100 to ISO 6400, which is further expandable upto 25600. It has the same 51 point AF system and has 91,000 pixel 3D RGB matrix metering mode, it is also equipped with Dual memory card slots. Also, Nikon D800 is the first camera by Nikon to house a USB 3.0 port on it. Beside this Nikon D800 doesn’t have Ethernet ports for connectivity, the Gadget is priced at Rs. 1,49,950 and will be available by next week.

This was all about D800 and if we look at D800E it is only a modified variant of D800 with some changes like absence of low-pass antialiasing filter on top of it. Rest all specifications for Nikon D800E are same as D800 and it is specially meant for studio professionals. All the three DSLR cameras will be available from the next week at online and standard offline stores.
